ballerinas

Aunt Angela made these beautiful tutus for Tabby, Izzie and Maddy. She spoils us all the time! Tabby wears hers everyday and begs Izzie to play Angelina Ballerina with her. Thank you so much Angela!

Pinewood Derby

Calvin made his pinewood derby into the batmobile. He saw one online that he liked and from the picture sketched the car's outline. He did a great job! His car did not win any races but he had fun. Steve took all the pictures.

St. Patty's Day

For St. Patty's Day we potato stamped shamrocks on t-shirts. It was so fun to see all the ideas they came up with. The boys carved their own stamps. I carved the girls stamps Tabby stamped hers. Chas learned the hard way that when carving letters you have to carve the reverse so it stamps right. We can't wait to potato stamp again.

Grandma and Grandpa Roskelley

I have the best parents. They are always so supportive. We decided to have Maddy blessed the first Sunday in March. My parents never miss a baby blessing, baptism, priesthood ordination... It was a quick visit but it was so wonderful to see them. My mom prayed that she would know what she could do to help us. As she was helping around the house she saw that our dryer was not drying right so she asked my dad to check it out. After pulling out the dryer, inspecting the problem, 2 runs to the store, snaking out the vent pipe and water pressure pushing out the clog.... now my dryer works like a champ. I am so thankful. My mom stayed up all night to catch up my laundry. That helped so much. My kids had a great time making rings with G-ma and cinnamon rolls with G-pa. Oh, and I cannot forget the bear trap. My dad catches one of the kids in his legs a.k.a. the bear trap. The kid who is trapped will yell and holler while being tickled then G-ma will point her finger and say, "Ppsstt!" And magically the bear trap opens and the kid is free. It is so funny to watch. All the kids beg to be in the bear trap. My dad blessed Maddy. It was a beautiful blessing. I am so thankful for my parents.

Maddy is 2 weeks old

I haven't been very good about taking pictures. So today I took the time to take some pictures. Maddy is a great baby! She is loved by everyone. She is such a cutie.

Snow Day! Yay!

Thursday, February 24th we woke up to snow all over. I woke up Chas for seminary and turned on the news to see if school is cancelled. Sure enough school has been cancelled. I called Chas into my room and broke the news to him. He was so excited he yelled, "Yes!" He woke Steve and Calvin up to tell them the good news. :) It was so funny. I went back to bed and the boys all went downstairs to eat and go play in the snow. When I woke back up all the kids were outside having a great time making forts, throwing snowballs, making snow angels and having a great time. I sat down in the rocking chair in front of the window snuggling with Maddy and had a great time watching my kids play in the snow. Sadly Friday there was school, no 4 day weekend for us.
