caterpillars are growing

Day 7 the catapillars are 1 1/2 inches long.

Today is day 3 and the caterpillars are more than half an inch long and getting fat. It is so fun to see them change everyday.

Spring Break Day 5

It was beautiful today so we went down to the bank of the Columbia River and collected beach glass. We found some beautiful pieces of glass. We are going to make some crafts with some and send the rest to Ang for a prize (act surprised when it gets there Ang :)

Spring Break Day 4

Today we went to the library. Chas and Steve went over to the community center with their friend Alex and hung out in the teen room. Calvin and Tabby played on the computer and read books. Me and maddy chased Izzie all over the library. All the librarians know Izzie by name and try to help me keep her from running all over. Chas and Steve had movie night at Alex's house and me and the youger 4 kids stayed home and ate cake and watched American Idol :)

Spring Break Day 3

What the Hail? I went to Safeway to get some groceries in my flipflops and when I came out there was 2 inches of hail on the ground. All my kids were so excited to play in the snow. Izzie loves to eat the snow. Tabby opened the garage and grabbed the sled to ride it down our driveway. For Calvin, Steve and Chas the snowball fight was on. So much for spring, winter just won't leave.

Spring Break Day 2

Today Chas slept in until noon. Toby took Steve to the doctor because he had a rash under his eye. Calvin cleaned his room and watched TV. Then we did our good deed for the day. In GC President Eyring said we should all be helping and serving those in need. Last night I got a call from my sister in-law saying she needed someone to babysit her two boys tomorrow. I asked my kids if they wanted to serve Bonnie and they said, "YES!" Aren't my kids great? So AJ and Austin came over and played on the trampoline, operation and motorcycles. We had lots of fun! I think tonight we should watch a movie :)

Spring Break Day 1

Today is the first day of Spring Break. Chas spent the day doing Biology homework. He hasn't turned in any work since February. Spring Break is the perfect time for him to catch up on all his work. Calvin and Steve had fun playing wii.

Catapillars

I went to Wal mart the other day and saw kits to raise your own catapillar. I knew my kids would love it. So I bought one and sent in the certificate. The catapillars came in the mail today. There are 5 of them and they are less than 1/2 and inch long. Everyone is so excited to see them grow.
